Good morning Brainstorms. What glorious sunshine this week; hope you are making the best of it! Yesterday’s job is done and we have set up the class ready for Thursday. I do hope you were able to complete yesterday’s tasks.
Today I will be calling those of you on my list for Mon, Tues & Wed to check on the tasks I have set so far. Like I said yesterday, this blog will continue for those who will not be going in to school. Please continue with work at home. Those who will be going in to school can also attempt some of the tasks as homework.
Please send me some of the fantastic work you have been doing so I can upload them on to the blog. Thank you!
Here are today’s tasks:
Let’s start with collective worship
Theme – God is Above All
How would you describe a flower? What adjectives would you use? And now how would you describe a war between two people or countries? These two contrasting images are in Psalm 46. What does God do to both? He plants the flowers and He bans wars and breaks weapons. We are told to see: God is there involved in both; in creating the delicate and in stopping the destructive. Where is God, we may ask… He is there, involved.
English: To learn how to use settings and fronted adverbials.
Maths: To order and compare fractions, decimals and percentages by converting them.
Science: All animals, including humans, are born, they get older and bigger and some will go on to have children. In the end, all animals die. We call this a life cycle.
Watch this short clip to learn about life cycles.
Art: Rock paper Scissors – continue with your design and send it in once it is completed.
